Who ARE WE?

OUR MISSION

Now more than ever, people have a need to get out, have drinks, share laughs, and blow off steam.   We bring live comedy nights to the missed masses.  Places located off the beaten path.  Drinking establishments that are fun, but not out of control.  Classy, but not uptight.

TOUR DIRECTOR

Just in case you’re not familiar with Jeremy “JerDog” Danley, he is an event host, radio personality, comedy coach and talent scout who knows first-hand the tools and tactics it takes to get the crowds and keep them coming back. As The Bar Comedy USA™ tour director, he specializes in consistently packing events, using his proprietary Sold-Out Show System™ for bars and clubs, together with a PUB-licity Machine™ developed and perfected over a celebrated 20-plus year career of filling locations to capacity and overflow.

5/5
"JerDog is the best in the business to work with. Also a damn funny comedian in his own right. We have worked with Jeremy for over 10 years. Always has sent highly professional comedians to our venue. Would, without any hesitation highly recommend that anyone looking for a 1st class comedy show, contact Jeremy and The Pub & Grub Comedy Tour."

The Bar Comedy Formula

Comedy Nights are actually quite simple, once you have the formula and logistics in place.   It’s an event that many bars and clubs can reliably rinse and repeat several times for fun and profit.

Comedy is also one of those things that looks easier than it is.  It is a common story among bar owners and managers that have attempted a comedy night on their own without professional help, resulting in embarrassing disaster.

From the promotion to the production to the performance to the post-show experience, there are many pitfalls that can trap the uninitiated. You do not want to just guess and wing it and hope for the best.

There are many steps involved in delivering a first-class experience for reasonable cost.  Having a plan is the key.  Those events that are successful have a way that they do things and a philosophy in place.

Luck always plays a part, but having a plan and sticking to it helps you get lucky.

FOUR REASONS WHY COMEDY NIGHTS FAIL

1. If the comedians are not funny. Imagine that?
That is why  The Pub & Grub Comedy Tour™ is made up of a select core roster of national-touring headliners that can deliver 60-90 minutes of
fast-paced, blue-collar style comedy with quick & clever jokes and lots of audience interaction resulting in a Perfect Pub Performance™.

2. If the comedians can’t be seen or heard. The comedians must seen and heard by everyone in attendance. Otherwise, attention spans will be severely limited, especially with alcohol involved. The Pub & Grub Comedy Tour™ 100% turn-key in that we provide the necessary sound and lights, so you don’t have to handle any technical stuff.

3. Nobody knows about it. A systemized marketing plan is a
key component to the success of The Pub & Grub Comedy Tour™.
We don’t have one way to get 100 people in the door. But we do have 100 ways to bring 1 person in the door. Our PUB-licity Playbook™ has been polished and perfected for the last 20-plus years. We have the tools, tactics, and team positioned to deliver our proprietary Sold-Out Show System™  no matter which comedian from our roster is booked to perform.

4. If the venue has a bad reputation. This one is tricky. Many of our clients have taken over a struggling bar business, with the intention of fixing it up, getting in higher-quality customers. They use a comedy night as one way to extend goodwill to the community and differentiate themselves from the bad reputation left behind by previous owners or managers. However, there are also the venues that are known for crappy environments and customer experiences and that will extend to their entertainment and events. If an establishment is known for such things as half-assing service, dirty environment, or catering to customers of ill-repute, The Pub & Grub Comedy Tour™ is not a good fit.  If your approach to a comedy night is to use it as “background noise,” it’s only going to be a waste of time and money for everyone involved.
